925 sterling silver necklace is composed of hand-shaped ribbon links and vintage charms. It’s a one-off piece crafted by hand in my studio in Hastings Old Town. Each link and charm are unique, giving the necklace asymmetrical shape and a realistic appearance of a ribbon blowing in the wind.
This design is inspired by many folk traditions of the British isles that incorporate ribbons in the rituals - maypole, handbinding, clootie wells - all carrying messages of prosperity, love and healing.
